The fiber laser marking machine generates a high-energy continuous beam through
a laser generator. When the laser acts on the substrate material atoms in the ground
state transition to a higher energy state. These high-energy state atoms are unstable and quickly return to the ground state releasing excess energy in the form of photons
during this process. The light energy is then converted into heat energy causing the surface material to vaporize–even before it has time to melt-thereby forming durable marks on the surface of different substances.
